Smoked by Donald McIntyre on the shores of Loch Fyne these are the best kippers I have tasted. Just pan fry with some butter or as an alternative to pan frying boil some water and pour it into a tall jug then immerse the kipper head first into the jar and leave it for ten minutes the kipper will be warmed through and there will be no smell in the kitchen.
